deserving understanding is a complex and subjective matter
whether or not you deserve understanding often depends on how you treat others, your willingness to learn and grow, and your capacity for empathy and self-awareness
no one is perfect, and we all make mistakes or have moments when we may not act in the best way
understanding is often extended to people when they show a genuine effort to improve themselves or make amends for their actions
ultimately, it's a good practice to treat others with understanding and empathy, just as you would hope to receive it yourself

let's begin this week's blog by setting the mood with guided mindfulness meditation
recognizing your emotions by mindfulpeace
next, let's cuddle up with a memoir from one of my favorite actresses
thicker than water by kerry washington
washington gives readers an intimate view into both her public and private worlds
chronicling her upbringing and life's journey thus far, she reveals how she faced a series of challenges and setbacks, ultimately discovering her truest self and, with it, a deeper sense of belonging
lastly, our film recommendation
lucy starring scarlett johansson
the movie is a metaphor for the limitlessness of the human mind.
this is one of the movies that will show you that the real treasure is, indeed, inside of you.
