I Deserve To Evolve (Je Mérite D'évoluer)

Evolution isn’t about perfection — it’s about progress.
It’s about learning, unlearning, and becoming the fullest version of yourself.
Every experience, whether joyful or challenging, contributes to your growth.
Affirming that you deserve to evolve means giving yourself permission to change, adapt, and flourish.
This week's affirmation, “I Deserve to Evolve” (Je Mérite d'Évoluer), invites us to embrace growth, change, and transformation with open hearts and minds.
Personal evolution is unique to each individual, and there is no fixed timeline.
Be patient with yourself, stay committed to your goals, and enjoy the journey of becoming the best version of yourself.
Enjoy this week's lessons...

Don’t live the same day over and over again and call that a life. Life is about evolving mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.”

Lesson #1 - Reflect and Reassess

Take time to reflect on your journey so far. What have you learned? What areas of your life are ready for growth? Journaling or guided meditation can help you gain clarity.

We'll begin this week with setting the right mindset thru meditation -

10 WAYS TO BECOME YOUR BEST SELF
BY ELIZABETH PERRY
Learning how to be true to yourself is an age-old struggle. You may feel that your mind, body, and heart tell you to act one way, but society demands you to act differently. But exploring your authentic self can teach you how to be true to yourself in a relationship, to be comfortable in your own skin, and to live the life of your dreams. Putting in the work can be overwhelming, but it’s worth it in the long run.

Lesson #3 - Embrace Change
Growth often requires stepping out of your comfort zone. By evolving, you allow yourself to explore new possibilities and experiences.
We explore this lesson with an amazing memoir, a story of evolution -
AFENI SHAKUR: EVOLUTION OF A REVOLUTIONARY
A MEMOIR BY JASMINE GUY
Afeni Shakur, one of the most visible figures in both the hip-hop and civil rights movements, reveals her moral and spiritual development in an innovative memoir spanning four decades. Before becoming one of the most well-known members of the Black Power movement, Alice Faye Williams was not unlike any other poor, African American girl growing up in the impoverished South, but when her family moved to New York during the radical sixties, she became intoxicated by the promise of social change. By the time she turned twenty-one, Alice had a new name -- Afeni Shakur, derived from the Yoruba term for "lover of people" -- and a new vision for the future. The rest is history.

Lesson #4 - Celebrate Small Wins
Evolution happens in small steps. Celebrate every milestone, no matter how minor it may seem.
So I've heard you love these. Let's go! Get out of that seat, that bed. Let's have a dance party in Je Mérite! When I think of evolution, I think of who inspired so many generations of artists and women across the world, the one and only -
TINA TURNER MIX
BY SPOTIFY
With almost fifty years in the music business, Tina Turner is one of the most commercially successful international rock stars. Rest in Peace to this force!

Lesson #5 - Share Your Story
Sharing your story helps you process your experiences and make room for growth. By speaking your truth, you may inspire others to start their own journey of evolution. You can redefine yourself at any stage in life.
Tina Turner’s story is one of resilience and transformation. Tina Turner’s legacy reminds us that storytelling is not just about revisiting the past; it’s about using those experiences as a springboard for growth. When you share your story, you evolve —and you invite others to evolve with you.
WHAT'S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT
I always suggest to read autobiographies to find out the truth from the person who lived it's perspective and you should (READ - I, Tina: My Life Story), but this is interpretation of her life's story is still moving and must be seen.
"Her final words to me — for me — were, 'You never mimicked me. Instead, you reached deep into your soul, found your inner Tina, and showed her to the world.' I shall hold these words close to my heart for the rest of my days. I am honored to have known Tina Turner," Angela Bassett (actress who portrayed Tina in her biopic) on Tina Turner.
Find your inner Tina and evolve.

YOUR RITUAL THIS WEEK
We recommend lighting our bestselling “I Deserve Healing” candle as you embark on your journey of growth. Its soothing blend of honeysuckle, jasmine, and baby powder creates a calming atmosphere, perfect for reflection and renewal.
Pair it with our Mantra Notebook, where you can document your progress, set intentions, and capture insights along the way. These tools serve as a reminder that your evolution is both intentional and sacred.

Celebrate Your Growth

Growth is not a linear path, and that’s okay.
What matters is your willingness to evolve, to let go of what no longer serves you, and to welcome the person you’re becoming.

You deserve to evolve—beautifully, bravely, and authentically.

As always, affirmations from previous weeks are available here

You'll be hearing more from me soon. Promise.
